Hi there, I was wondering if anyone knows how to get this script working with php5? Or if there is a similar php/mysql ad script out there somewhere? FREE of course! Thanks in advance for your help! Matt

Try http://www.openx.org/

I'm already using that script, but it's too complex for what I'm after. Don't get me wrong it's a very great script but it's too much for what I need. That's why I liked phpLedAds!!

I wouldn't mind it if OpenX made a "lite" version of their script for people with lesser needs...it would get used by heaps of people.

Have you tried running the phpLedAds on PHP 5? Do you get any errors? My guess is it should work fine on PHP 5.

Have you tried asking on their site? http://www.ledscripts.com/support/forums/list.php?3

Yes I have, it returns a fatal error! I've asked on their website but no one seems to know what's wrong, many other people get the same fatal error when running the script on php5. Thanks, Matthew

Post the error you get. Maybe someone here can help you run the script on PHP5

This is the error I get when going to admin.php. Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/networkf/public_html/ads2/common.inc.php(168) : runtime-created function on line 2

I've just installed it again, setup the database and changed permissions as it states in the readme. It's installed 100% correctly. Thanks, Matthew

This could be because of a semi - colon missed in the code arguement. Peek up the developer team to look into the source code, as the error seems runtime... so some where in the create function call of your code.

I've asked the developers, everyone has, but they aren't replying! Since last year actually!
