We use the Avocent DSR series which work great if you have multiple servers and down to the channel user configuration. We have deployed around 1200 ports now all through one control panel.

Avocent Switchview IP 1020 connected to existing KVMs. It's already paid for itself by being there when I'm not

if you have multiple KVM switches, how do you connect this one to it?

You don't you will have to have KVM Switchs that allow cascading. We currently have an Aten LCD/LCD 1U Rack with 3 KVM switches cascaded, and then the Switch View 1020 hooked into the additional local user port.

Same here. So far so good. Responsiveness is fine but the main thing I could do without is how it shows "No Signal" every time the resolution changes. I hope they come up with a firmware fix for that some day.

Well we both our setup through our Dell Team. We pretty much tell them what we want to buy and they work the vendors to get it to us.
