Socketmail

Socketmail I am going to buy Socketmail. Can anyone tell me about performance of this software? How much users can handle Socketmail Lite? Can it handle large amounts of users like 20 000 - 50 000 when mail is being stored in filesystem instead of Mysql database? I ask it because I have heard many stories about Hivemail which became extremaly slow even with a few hundred users. Yes, yes, I know - I need a good server for large amounts of users, but I just want to know if this mail system has been tested with large amounts of users. How does affect servers's performance the fact that all mail goes to the same catch-all account instead of multiple accounts? Thanks.

From what I know, Socketmail is still fairly new here, so I don't think you can find much reviews of it. Good luck in searching for its pros

Socketmail is a good program i was using it for awhile. Things you need to consider are you going to have that many clients and can your server handle that much data transfer almost constantly. You may want to look into a dedicated server with a sturdy backbone, and see what other email providers offer.

We have been here since around 2001...though we didn't start selling it on WHT till around 2007/2008. But even considering we started selling it here at WHT in 2007 - I think two years is a good time. For socketmail enquiries please contact me directly or email US at support. Also look out for the 50% OFF special that we'll be running at WHT today support@socketmail.com & sales@socketmail.com Best Regards,
