I am in the beginning stages a new video sharing site (intend to use Clip Share) which will pertain to sports. I have reserved the domain name, filed a trademark application for the name, have the ideas for what I wish to accomplish BUT need help with the design of the site, setup, the administration, hosting, etc, etc.... I will need necessary server, bandwidth, management of site and server and speed with the ability to handle potential high traffic. I HAVE RECEIVED INFORMATION FROM Timihosting.com and Infrenion.com. ANYONE HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH EITHER ENTITY? Please contact me to let me know what services and direction you can provide to me. I welcome all advice and guidance. I am not familiar with any of those hosts as I host myself. Depending on the host, you may already have the encoders installed. If not you will have to get someone to do that for you. If you don't know how to install the script then you will have to get someone. I think there will be a few people on the clipshare forum who can do new designs for you. Alot of people can do this kind of things on this forum including myself. You can post the job on the forum and there will be plenty of takers. As for the server itself, it really depends on your budget and how much bandwidth you project to happen over the course of a few months. Also there are other things such as location of the server (US/Europe). Research and see how much upgrading the BW will be at the host you are interested in. Alot of people tend to go with unmetered options (from my observation) and then eventually get a dedicated line (10mbit for example). Anyway you will have to weigh alot of options Good luck.
