Exim problem

Hello,
I got a mail "spamd failed @ Fri Jan 11 04:34:53 2008. A restart was attempted automatically".And I checked the server.Then I found that spamd is not working.Its a cpanel server.I've tried to restart exim but spamd is not starting.Please help me................

What does your server administrator or management service say?

Hi,
You can try restarting spamd manually after ssh into the server and running the command.
#service spamd restart
if it still fails, check the log file /var/log/mailog and paste the error reporting there.

Thank you for your reply.I cant run this using the above command.I have checked the error log.I got the following error message.
spam acl condition: warning - spamd connection to 127.0.0.1, port 783 failed
