I am myself Java programmer, and I chose to program my site in .JSP. But other day I looked into some .PHP code and realised what an overkill .JSP is in compareson to .PHP. It is too late now, but maybe for the next site. Does anybody else who tried the both lanquages, shares my opinion?

Am trying to program an ERP system. I would like to first link my production departments first on the ERP system and hence want to build only the production module on the erp system. Is there any such software available or framework available over which I can design such a real time production system. Awaiting for a quick reply.

Its not good to compare languages like this both the languages are good but you have to select which you feel better and according to me php is better for me

Right , you should not compare these languages as each one has got unique qualities and features to program with , I would say track down your requirements first check what language will get it completed and then go for it
