I have exchange 2003 installed but also want to use POP3. Is this possible? If so, how can I create the POP3 email accounts? How do I configure them?

Yep... Exchange supports POP3 logons. You just have to enable it in the manager. They'd have to be accounts in Active Directory. When they're created the option to create the Exchange mailbox is there obviously then they can use that AD account to logon via POP3.

ok here is another question. 1 AD user has multiple email accounts how can I send from different email accounts for that user? example, bob has 2 email accounts: bob@website.co.uk sales@website.co.uk he wants to use both email accounts, so he should be able to send FROM sales as well as his own email account. possible? how?

He sets up two outgoing accounts in his email client. I know that Netscape can do this, and I think Outlook can do this as well. So can Calypso.

POP3 is just another way of accessing an Exchange mailbox, so providing you turn on the POP3 service from within ESM you can access the mailbox via POP3 with the AD credentials. To the second question, set up two POP3 accounts in Outlook. Also make sure your sales and personal mailboxes are seperate accounts and not just aliases within AD. Exchange has a habit of replacing the name and from address with the account defaults as it hits the MTA. Dan
