Over the past month there has been much talk within the company to support outside charities. Starting January 1, 2010 we will begin to support the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital with monetary donations. We plan on doing this by placing a setup fee of $1.00 on ALL solutions we have to offer, that $1.00 is not much and the full $1.00 will be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. GigeWeb.Com will also match the money we collect from this $1.00 setup fee as well. For example, if we raise $100 in setup fees in one month, GigeWeb.Com will add $100 to that fund and send it to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital is a leading pediatric hospital that focuses on the research and treatment of Children’s catastrophic diseases and the only pediatric hospital in the United States that will provide health care to children regardless of the family’s financial situation. No child will be turned away if their parents cannot pay. If insurance does not cover the treatments, the families don’t pay; Families who don’t have insurance don’t pay and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital assists families with transportation, housing/lodging and meals while their child is at St. Jude’s. It costs over $2.4 Million USD a day to run the facility, only $180,000 comes from insurance companies, the rest comes from donations. We understand the hard financial times that everyone is facing but $1.00 is not much and is going to a great cause. You cannot put a price on a child’s life, which is why as of January 1, 2010 we will be setting up setup fees and also giving the client that option to also donate through our company on a monthly basis as well.
