Hi All, I have been seeing the cpu uttlize in top command when it shows top usage I am seening the following line. Please let me know what is this?... PID USER PR NI %CPU TIME+ %MEM VIRT RES SHR S COMMAND 29460 nobody 16 0 0 0:00.00 0.1 5324 1648 588 S entropychat

If you are running cpanel , then entropychat is cPanel's HTML-based Chat Server. There are plenty of vulnerabilities related to it. Make sure you do a detailed check

If I disable the Entropychat, is it make any issue?..

no problems ...u can disable it

Can you please tell me, how to disable this opting in WHM.

1. Open a web browser and connect to your cPanel Control Panel located at https://ip address:2087. 2. Login as the Administrator using the information sent to you in your setup email. 3. From the Service Configuration menu, click Service Manager. 4. Check or Uncheck the service you wish to enable or disable. 5. Click Save.

I am not able to find the "Entropychat' service on Service manager.

Thanks for guide. I have disabled the entropychat. Can please tell me how to disable any service on command prompt without using WHM.
