Problem 100% isn't in /etc/resolv.conf I tried a lot of dns servers there ... everything else works just this thing don't. Anyone have idea what it could be ? Thanks a lot.

Hi, Have you tried temporarily disabling your firewall and then run the update? Can your server resolve a domain? Can you install simple script/apps via yum? Regards, Bobby

You need to fix the yum repos first , Take a look at this URL http://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/...c_id=5048 this will guide you through the process of fixing the yum repos databases, Then finally update the cpanel.

Yeah, this is only a yum repos error, not related to cPanel. However you can contact with cPanel ticket system, i apologize they can update (or say how) for you and solve the problem (if it is not solved yet). Regards, <> Last edited by anon-e-mouse; 09-10-2008 at 10:13 PM.

Anyone have idea what it could be? Anyway report this error to cPanel via their BTS as cPanel has been paid for. You may have phone support privileges with that license purchase. Try upcp with the force switch too.

1) Find new repos links and add them to the repos file for YUM 2) Uninstall YUM and reinstall it using the latest YUM package for your OS 3) Install up2date and use that instead (Manual installation, since a broken yum wont install it)

Cpanel directly gives support though the license is not purchased directly and I must say that their support is excellent.
