Although you can ask the forum, you'd get a quicker and more accurate answer if you contacted their support reps; http://www.mchost.com/support/

Marc Wyss the owner of MChost will chase you with a baseball bat if you go over your bandwidth!

One of my customers using MCHost's services regularly went over their bandwidth and mchost was very good in allowing it. They didn't have to but did, so from experience their policy is lax and comfortable but showed itself to be on a case by case situation. They want your site to be up, if you do not pay they will pull your site, but if you go over, hey it's cool. This is from experience of using their services for the features of their product offering for several of my customers. This spanned from August 2001 to this month.

It's usually nothing thats gonna get you shut down!!!! Most hosts will even let a lil extra here and there go....

If you only go a few MBs or even a GB over your allowed bandwidth usage, we won't charge you If we see that you always go over your bandwidth usage for several months or you're getting to your limit quickly, we will notify you so that you can either: 1. Limit your accounts. 2. Upgrade your plan. Hope this helps

Isn't that an over generalization meant to distort the meaning of the information I posted? I try to post correct information, and try not to distort the meaning within a thread. Yes, sometimes I go off topic but that's because I am a nerd and drink WAAAAAAAAAAAAyyyyyyyyyy too much dr pepper, and sometimes espresso =)

Put down the Dr Pepper and move slowly away sir", said the swat officers who came to take Samuel back to his "room".

backs away spilling dr pepper, crying loudly and hoping someday that the gods of dr pepper will make the crap less sticky

Take up a safer habit, Samuel, like smoking or rock climbing. All that Dr Pepper in your system over many years must be rusting you out from the inside.
