Best Webhost to get a reseller account?

Posted by XCaLiBrE, 08-18-2002, 06:10 AM
Hi, I'm sort of new to all this webhosting stuff, but I would just like to know which company is the best, in support and price to go with for a reseller account. Thanks!

That is an incomplete question. No one can just state who is the best, but rather you they think ARE the best. There are many fine hosting companies out their that sell reseller packages. I have been with AcuNett Web Services for the past few months and they have been greate...excellent support and customer service. Their site is located at www.acunett.com.

I've been very happy with Edge-Host.com. I got a great custom quote from them for a reseller account and support has been excellent. So far, I haven't experienced any downtime which is also supported by InternetSeer monitoring.

I second that I have been with voxtreme for a while now and they have been great, very little to no downtime. Support is always fast and friendly.

I am using Priority Colocation http://www.prioritycolocation.com and have not had any problems with support or service. I got a custom quote for my needs and everything since then has been no problem at all.

I can second the recomendation for Acunett . I have been with them for several months and have been given nothing but fast support and service. They really look after their resellers and I can personally vouch for that as I am one of their resellers. http://www.acunett.com/ Check out their forums for what others have to say about them http://www.acunett.com/forums/ admin@hostnuclear.com www.hostnuclear.com

The best is whoever has what you need at a price you can afford. Once you get that list, your 'short list,' you should come up with three, four, five questions that aren't in their FAQ's and do a presales inquiry. To me the answer isn't as important as the tone of their response... the way they talk to me and how they feel about the people at the other end of their keyboards. Then do a search here, in the WebHostingTalk (WHT) forums. Go through your short list and find old and new threads. You'll get a snapshot of the their history, their reliability, who likes and dislike them, and so on. Look up SplashHost.com and E-starr.com. I'm happy with both of them.
