Hello WHT, wow been a while, but anyway i have a client whose hosting account has way tooo many emails, he mentioned to me that he doesnt need them, i logged into his email annd they are more than 500 pages of emails, how would i delete them in WHM without going 1 by 1 or page by page..(even with that they still go to trash) Thanks again!!

Though shell would be easier, but if you can get this installed, you can do it from WHM very simply. With root shell, installation takes about a minute, then you access right from WHM

Would it not be easier to just delete the email account and re-create it again? it would seem a lot more practical than just deleting them by hand. EDIT: I just installed what bear suggested to see what its like and it is proberly quicker and easier using that Last edited by sherwood; 04-19-2009 at 04:17 PM.

Shell is the best, if you know how to make it follow your wish Or else as bear said, install CMM. (but that again will need shell to install, but easy to follow) http://www.configserver.com/free/cmm/INSTALL.txt

I agree to bear here. If you need to delete them in bulk you need root access and I suppose thet you has it on your dedicated server. Deleting through WHM might take a lot of time

you can delete the email through SSH, all mails for the specific domain will be stored in home/USERNAME/mail check that out

If you are not familiar with ssh, and you want to empty the entire mailbox, then deleting it then recreating it would be the easiest way.

In shell: However, installing CMM as mentioned by bear above is the smartest and easiest way to go, it will be useful in the future as well!
