Stay away from EIS!!!

Posted by dontknownutn, 06-04-2003, 10:50 AM
Stay away from EIS/everydayinternetsolutions.com. One man operation...no customer support...had to cancel my credit card today and have a new one issued. Matt acknowledged my cancellation on 5-6 and my card was billed again yesterday. I cancelled within 4 days of opening this account due to absolutely NO SUPPORT and have never received a refund. No response from Matt and hey, your phone number listed on your site is still disconnected after a month? This was a reseller account and I was moving several sites. Could not get answers to a couple of support questions. Never received my IP addresses or even an account number. DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER! Aaron amarkp@valuelinx.net

It's this kind of customer service that gives web hosting a bad name. It may be time for you to contact your credit card company in regards to this matter. Kind Regards, -Darrell

This is a duplicate post. Mods, I've answered this person in their other post so I guess you can delete this one if you choose.

YES, it is posted in 2 places. Also on a half dozen other boards. I am trying my best to protect everyone from being done the same way! You have still not made any attempt to resolve or even provide an explaination why I was once again billed or if you intend to refund or not. And, MY EMAIL IS STILL UNANSWERED! -------------------------------- You have a number listed under "About Us" and that's the same line you gave a month ago. How long does an office move take? It has been a month since I cancelled, I have your email acknowledging this plus my fax confirmation. So, why was my card billed again and do you plan to refund the $59.90 anytime soon? Also, answering email would have keep this from being made public. I will not email billing again. I have 6, yes 6, emails saved right now, all to billing with NO RESPONSE! MY ADVICE TO EVERYONE STILL STANDS! If and when I receive a FULL refund, I'll let everyone know! Aaron amarkp@valuelinx.net

Guess he was too consumed with fighting Rackshack on WHT... hmm, maybe he wouldn't have to battle for business if he knew how to take care of what he had.

All these snappy comments from everyone. You all have such whit... The issue is being resolved with the customer. no one here has ever made an accounting error? No one at all? This hurts getting hit with all these stones...

One man shows are not all that bad. I've been a one man show since I started last year and have been doing just fine with local accounts. Just started opeing up to everyone anywhere. I dare say there are MANY MANY more one man shows out there than people will admit.

THis is not the first time you have complained about someone... I have been with EIS for over a year and never had a problem. Your statement is quite bold, not sure what number you are dialing for them, but I never have problems getting through... Get a life dontknow, people like you is what makes WHT bad... An error happens and you enter a post like this, maybe you have too much time on your hand. and should concentrate on your business..

I'd like to see you produce another complaint from me against a webhost! PLEASE! You must also have a number other than the one listed on their website, because the one that has been listed on their site is disconnected unless it was changed yesterday and if so, I still have the one that was listed and will be more than happy to give it to you. Take it somewhere else! I don't make mistakes like that and no one I've ever done business with has either. If a customer cancels, I don't bill them again, I refund immediately! I have no notice policy! If you cancel within 30 days of opening an account, you get a full refund no later than the next business day! And I ANSWER MY EMAIL! EVERYTIME! If Matt would have answered one of the emails I sent him, I would not have posted here! If Matt had cancelled my account after acknowledging my cancellation on 5-6, I would not have posted here! And if I had not posted here, no one would ever know of the problem. We have no way of knowing how often this happens if no one tells! So, if another complaint shows up, then we start seeing a trend. If not, then YES, it may be a simple, one-time mistake. But, it took me coming here to get a response from EIS, and if I have to do it agian, that is what I'll do!

Aaron, Sandie processed your refund yesterday. An email was sent to you, please confirm you have received it. Our apoligies for the mistake on our end. The office move has been much harder than originally anticipated and some things fell through the cracks. Good luck in your future endevors.
