We are proud to announce that as of today, 29th March 2010, OutHOST Solutions has acquired IT & Communications Ireland.

IT & Communications Ireland was previously known as Dublin PC Doctor, a company that was initially setup by Mark Railton of OutHOST Solutions. Dublin PC Doctor was sold in 2008 allowing Mark to focus on making OutHOST Solutions the success that it is today.

Ian Quinn, the Dublin based IT Engineer that took over Dublin PC Doctor re-vamped the comapny image and then became a reseller of OutHOST Solutions providing more than just an IT support service. In November 2009 Ian broke into the communications market and also re-branded the company to IT & Communications Ireland, this success proved that the IT and Communications market in Ireland is still thriving.

In a strategic move aimed to increase market share across UK and Ireland, Mark Railton approached Ian Quinn about merging the two companies into one. It was decided that due to the brand recognition that OutHOST has gained in the past 3 years that the newly merged company would retain the OutHOST brand. Ian has agreed to remain with the company and take on the role of Director of Field Support Services for Ireland which will further bolster the support base for OutHOST.
