Eindhoven-New York-Vidhirholl – April 1, 2010 – 040 Hosting and The Lirpa IPv6 Forum and its sub-organization, the Lirpa IPv6 Ready Committee, today announced the introduction of a new free IPv6 Module for cPanel/WHM Program aimed to gain IPv6 readiness and adoption in cPanel/WHM.

“This program is a good step in the right direction. IPv6 needs to be integrated in all web sites” states Dr. A Loof, Internet Evangelist, Goggles & Honorary Chair.

The free cPanel IPv6 module has clearly demonstrated the widespread support of IPv6 in all websites. The impressive list of vendors indicates the number of potential IPv6 users are ready to use IPv6 and represents a real incentive for web site owners to enable IPv6 access for their customers.

The Lirpa IPv6 Forum has been tracking the adoption of IPv6 by cPanel Web sites and recognized the need for a quality IPv6 Module FREE of charge for the Web world.

The creation of the Module will create and support IPv6 deployment on cPanel Web sites with the goal of sustaining quality IPv6 solutions.

Important notice; for those who downloaded the Free IPv6 plugin; our technical team have found a small date glitch in the virtual code which enabled a debugging flag on each IPv6 package send; this caused several goverments in the world to complain as their IPv6 inspection and monitoring software was not able to read these packages properly.

Please download the new version of our module at http://www.lirpa-ipv6.com and do not use the 1.0 version as this may cause you trouble with several government organizations.

Obviously this was a 1st of April fools day joke. Although we believe it is very important that IPv6 will be integrated in every product, not just cPanel. We had plenty of visitors to the site, so we know you all where interested in the IPv6 integration, hopefully you will not need to wait to long.
