Free Billing System
Posted by d3crypt, 10-24-2003, 03:45 PM |
Hi,
I am a new reseller and I currently do not have any billing system. My billing system consists of notepad documents!! Anyway, I was hoping there was some free and simple application out there that runs on Windows or Linux? I do not want to run it on the server, as I can create the accounts manually. I just need something that I can store information and billing dates. Does anyone know of such a thing?
I wouldn't mind running it on the server, so long as it was accessible through the internet.
Thanks!

Why do you want free billing software? Your customer won't appreciate it. Just go with 2CO or PaySystems if you're a beginner

I use freeside, I believe the URL is www.sisd.com/freeside. It's designed more for ISPs with dialup customers, but it works ok for hosting customers too (I run an ISP, else I probably would have went with something else). The part I like best is it'll automatically charge your customers for you, provided you have their CC information stored.
If you use a control panel such as Cpanel or DirectAdmin, I'd recommend looking for something that integrates with that. Would make your life a lot easier.
