Weekend Warriors: A 24-Hour Startup Event
Lake Anna, Virginia, April 8, 2010--What happens when you put a graphic artist, computer programmer, videographer, business developer and global marketer together in one room for 24 hours?

The answer? Try to come up with an idea for an internet-based application--then design it, build it and launch it live within that time frame.

The creative journey, entitled Weekend Warriors, is an attempt to systematically construct methods for launching exciting ventures in this new age of the Web App (Apple, Android, Facebook, etc). It will take place at Noiz Ivy Inc headquarters in Lake Anna,VA. this weekend, and will be streamed live at www.livestream.com/noizivy.

"The idea is that many people and/or companies take months or an entire year to design and build an internet application,"
said Jason Reis, a participant and owner of Flehx Corp.
"The difference is that we are doing it all within 24 hours."
