AvidNewMedia: 5 month review

I'm a reseller. I have had a reseller account from AvidNewMedia for the past 5 months or so. This is a review on them. As for my general point of view: I highly recommend AvidNewMedia. Out of 3 web hosts I've been with, they're the best. The server is quite fast, as is the support. Uptime is generally very good, although there has been some downtime due to various problems at NAC. One time, my account was DDOS attacked by spammers, which caused downtime. When there has been downtime, though, it is usually resolved very quickly. Support is excellent. I purchased a PHP script that required the Ioncube Loaders, which were not installed (the script wasn't compatible with the runtime loaders). I created a support ticket about the issue. Within a day, Ioncube was installed on the server. I find that quite awesome that they installed something especially for my needs. I haven't ever really had any account problems; just things I needed to have set up. So here are my ratings on them: (1 = bad; 5=acceptable; 10=excellent) Uptime: 8/10 Support: 10/10 Quality of Service: 9/10 Overall: 9/10.

Glad to hear a happy customer from over at Avid New Media. The ultimate reward for any host is a testimonial such as this. Keep up the great work and please keep us updated. Nice to see that you have given the host some time to create this review.

Hi, Thank you jleq for the kind review. It is very much appreciated, and nice to know we're doing something right Also, just so everyone knows.....the site listed in jleq's site link is NOT the site we host. Many folks lately have been getting us confused with AventureMedia, which actually does host the site in his website link. Since jleq has not posted his site's url, it is not my place to do so. He may do so if he wishes however. Again, thank you jleq, for your kind review, and thanks to the rest of you that posted, for your support.
