I am a reseller and i have been having many problems with my account, Uptime, mail server probles. etc. but when I email the company on weekends I get a responce in about 6hrs. during the weekdays its always after 3pm which makes me think I am dealing with a younger person maybe in school or something I dont know. I would like to ask how old he OR she is but dont want to sound ignorant. any help? My accounts have all been down over 24hrs and no responce to any emails. thanks doot

Could be true that it is a student, but could be a college student or something also. It could also just be plain bad support. Have you been with them long?

Soiunds to me that it's time to dust off that exit plan.

Sound like you have done business with teenager who didn't know how to manage the server. Have you tried to contact him/her by phone ? Regards,

hi, I have been with them for a little over 4 months. I have just been giving them the benifit of the doubt. this is the third major outing during this time. last time I lost 6 local clients which is a big deal when you live in a small area like me. I have no phone contact info other then when I do a whois lookup. I am talking with bluewho.com now and hope to be with them shortly. I cant even logon to anywhere to try and backup anything for my clients. I dont know what to even say to them. I cant logon to WHM either. I knew this was going to happen sooner or later. I cant understand why no responce to any of my emails. it's like they dont exist. I know they are getting my emails because their website is not down..they have no reason to cancel my account I use less than 100mb of disk space total with all my clients.and not even 1gb of transfer per month. d00t

wow I cant beleive its after 4pm and guess what? all the sites are back now... probably just got off the school bus! still no emails from them I did write and ask the age but no reply. just in time for me to back up every thing before moving to bluewho.com from the looks of the reviews I should be happy there. d00t

Maybe you can have it arranged to get your host home-schooled?

Does his page state 24/7 support? If os, I'd go with: -- Hi. I've noticed my support tickets are usually answered after 3pm during the weekdays. Could you explain why? --

Greetings: Over the past 40 years of my life, I've only heard one really stupid question (and that was only my opinion that the certain quesiton was stupid). Go ahead and ask the question. If you ask it plainly, it is not offensive. Thank you.

Maybe You Should Request a phone call from your host. Just tell them that it is real important and you need to talk with them. You might be able to tell the age of your host then. That's only if they call you. It might not be a child or a student, could be a person who works in the mornings, or does get up until 3pm. I would ask also if there was a way to get a faster response from them, or another tech person you could contact.

Yes, I'd request a phone call. If not, check their web site for a phone number. If one is not listed, do a WHOIS check on the company's domain and call the number listed...although it sounds like you'll end up calling the parents, but that's assuming of course it's a kid running the site. Regards, Waylon
