Looking at the vpsinfo, it doesn't seem to be your VPS that is actually causing the problem though the httpd processes are using up high amount of RAM. What is the output of allow vmstat command to run for a couple of minutes.

Remember that Burst RAM is not Guaranteed RAM. If the server is running out of free memory, any processes using Burst RAM can be killed by the server. After your Guaranteed 256MB RAM the server will start using Burst RAM - I imagine that then there was not enough free memory on the server so the processes in the Burst RAM started to get killed off, including Apache which caused your sites to go down. You'd be better off with a VPS with 512MB Guaranteed RAM than 256MB Guaranteed/4GB Burst. Ideally, you should never be relying on Burst RAM, if your VPS does not have enough Guaranteed RAM then it's time for an upgrade. Last edited by BTCentral - Ben; 12-25-2009 at 05:47 PM.

Your load averages are far too high: 14.39, 10.29, 5.53 - when I checked a few minutes ago. It should ideally not be above 1.0 per processor core available to your VPS. Edit: Hmm, back down to 0.66, 3.97, 4.31 now... What is the output of free -m if you run the command via SSH? Last edited by BTCentral - Ben; 12-25-2009 at 06:01 PM.

Also, I noticed there seem to be a lot of connections from various IP addresses, maybe your VPS is being attacked?

it seems the OP is providing download service, hence the connection number is high. @OP, I checked again the link you gave on the first post. it seems to be normal now. probably there was another VM hogging the server or your vps just having load spike, better upgrade your VPS.

Memory is Normal 441MB most of time but Some times single Apache or Mysql process take Upto 57% of CPU that cause High Load It is the main Issue that is consumption of CPU with too load can You help me to reduce CPU usage I have no more then 10K visits each day on 7 forum of V bulletin using Koloxo and OScent 5.2 Any Alternative Software or change that can reduce resource consumption especially CPU ? Thanks

You could try litespeed which is an additional $15 or free depending on how many sites you have. http://litespeedtech.com/

It is Suitable ? Still yet 100s of IP got blocked. If it is good can you suggest be what limits should I set to block a IP no of connection and duration of Ban. Thanks
