Reselling providers hosting on RackSpace.com servers

Posted by Blikje, 07-08-2004, 11:35 AM
Hi, Are there still some hosts left who are hosting on servers at RackSpace.com? RackSpace recenly raised there bandwidth to 100 GB making it more easy to make profit. I know there were a few providers before who quit due to the high costs, but are there still any left? Thanks, Jacco

Well, we used to use Rackspace in 2002. Great network, crap servers.

raises hand* As eth00 mentioned, I will be purchasing a server soon from RackSpace. High costs = good quality. And that's how I intend to serve the market briefly, along side that I will target specific country(s).

Ironicly I had an issue with Hostdime today, and began a trace route that eventually led back to rackspace... So to answer the original question.. Hostdime.com is on Rackspace.

HostDime have *some* rackspace servers but, AIUI, all new clients are put on servers in their florida NOC.

You are absolutely correct... I should have elaborated. They also have some servers in NJ. I will also add that their live help on AIM is great. It was nice to see 'em at 2am.
