You can just register for a free account on enom.com (see sign up for free account) or google for a reseller host that offers a free enom.com domain reseller account (best deal if you are a hosting reseller anyway). Otherwise for a real enom reseller account you need to deposit $495.00 in your account with them. Good Luck.

I recommend www.dotster.com and www.enom.com. Dotster doesn't require that you prepay anything and they take the orders for you. You set your own costs and get commision checks once they reach a particular value. Great for low budget or just starting out. If you can prepay though, I highly recommend eNom. Thanks, Neofree

Do you have to deposit money into enom.com's reseller? Or is it paid individually? And how much is it? Enom.com is kind of confusing... to me...

Maybe there is a free reseller program with eNom now. There wasnt when I signed up.

You can use a free enom.com retail account to register domains manually for your clients using their contact info but you will need to deposit money in your account by sending in a check or money order or paying online with a credit/debit card. OR You can get a "real" enom.com reseller account where you can register domains in real-time as an order is placed on your website by: 1: Signing up for the free enom.com retail account then deposit $495 and have their sales people change your account over to reseller account status. or 2: Sign up with a web hosting service that offers free enom.com domain reseller accounts included with their package as anybody with a reseller account can create another reseller sub-account under them for free. I have seen lots of hosts which will offer this as a free incentive with their hosting reseller accounts.

You can also get a domain name reseller account with PlanetDomain. Their features include the ability for customers to choose the currency that the costs are displayed and charged in, and to choose from several different languages for the reseller wizard. The only cost to the reseller is the $49.95 setup charge (depending on how you set it up), and they take care of most of the details. I haven't used them yet, but I'm planning on setting up an account with them. Lois

I'd strongly reccomend enom, they have the best reseller panel and setup there is.

PlanetDomain was also highly recommended to me, though, and their multi-currency and multi-language features are important to me, since I'll be targeting an international market. Lois
