Bah fasthosts !! lol. I can give ya some info on fast hosts because i was on them for a while When i was on them about a month ago every addon was mostly have to be brought. They charged £5 per year per domain for just an control panel. And when you create a free hosting account for your users it says its free to setup but they didnt say that you have to pay £10 just for asp scripting. You'd think that its a asp server it whould allow asp scripting free As for thier broadband packagesa £50 setup fee for each connection but other companys offer it free If i had the choice to go back to fast hosts i whouldnt. For the price of £58 a month is too dare and the unlimited has popped up again lol. I do admit when i was a reseller for them i created myself a dialup connection on my 56k modem and i was getting speeds up to 115k a sec

Hiya, If you do a search on here for fasthosts you will be able to find enough information to make a decision. Hope that helps, Craig

Yes, as Craig states, search on here. FastHosts are overpriced (plus ludicrous add-on fees for stuff generally given free) and have poor 'real' support. The so called 'extreme support' they mention in their ads is a voice on the end of a phone who can only add your woes to a queue for their techies to look at (when they get around to it). When there are so many better options available I'd stay well clear.

Well what are the alternatives? I liked the idea of offering Broadband.... and they're the only relatively decent company in the UK that offers the full package (hosting/dedicated/broadband etc) under a reseller account. Does anyone know of an alternative in the UK? I found Griffin.net but they just don't reply to any e-mails.

There are plenty of broadband resellers out there. I think fast hosts are reselling for bt ( british telecom). I am a reseller from another company which i brought from ebay for £10 ive not had a problem with them so far which is good. I do miss providing the broadbands But i have found a broadband reseller but its £499 setup charge and you get wholesale costs etc branding. The link is http://www.netservicesuk.com/internet/index.asp be free to check it out. Thier support is very fast. I emailed them the night before and i got an email when i woke up the next day. They sent me the info in email. If you whould like me to forward it to you or pm it you i'll be glad to

Hhmmm, they seem alittle complicated to me.. although I do like the look of that white label visp... and they are in my hometown. it would be perfect for me but the £499 setup seems alittle steep.. so that has put me off them. If only they weren't so expensive. Thanks though Dexxa.

Anyway, Dexxa. I have sent them an e-mail for the sake of it. Thanks for the link. This way I can test their reply speed aswell.
