I need to open Port 43 on my web server, how would i go about doing this.

It still says the port is closed though :/
Do i need to save or restart or anything?

I have done what you have asked however it seems to be getting stuck as seen in the image, nothing seems to be happening...

Same thing appears to be happening, getting stuck when applying up tables firewall rules

I don't know why it's hanging..
Just install CSF and use the GUI (Assuming you have cPanel or DirectADmin)

If you are using CSF, edit /etc/csf/csf.conf and add your port to the property TCP_OUT

There seems to be having some offensive rule inside the firewall. Have a check by the following command.

if you are using apf or csf,you can just simply do it using there config files
