hello Please help me to optimize my below server: Description: Single Intel Xeon x3430 8GB ECC DDR3 Memory 2x500GB SATAII 7.2k No Raid 100 Mbps CentOS 64Bit I need mysql and apache optimization. thanks

is the server managed dedicated server or a unmanaged one ?

Optimization for what? You need to have a specific purpose before asking for optimization. What will you be using it for?

We'd really need to know more about how you'll use your server to give advice. Also, with MySQL in certain, it's usually a good idea to start with a "safe" configuration, then monitor the server under load for a couple of days and adjust the settings accordingly.
