Domain lookup failure

Posted by JJeet, 08-09-2010, 11:40 PM
I had moved from FDC to 100tb last week. It was all working fine for me, but I noticed a small decline in traffic after that. On searching, I found that some people especially from Europe are unable to open the site on the new server. It shows "Server not found" error for them. Please see this report from host-tracker. host-tracker.com/check_res_ajx/5291693-0 It shows 5 "Domain lookup failure" out of the 86 tests conducted. I also tried remote uploading a file from my server to Rapidshare (which is in Germany), but it gave "Failed" status. I've no idea why it happens. Can anyone please help? This is my site IP : 206.217.213.82 Thanks!

What's your domain name? Run it through: http://intodns.com/ Look for any problems with the name servers and report back here with the findings. . .

Have you changed your server and moved domain recently? If so, the reason can be DNS cache of all Worlds providers. All cache renewal can take up to 72h
