I have tried to cancel my account with DIY Hosting and have not received a response back from them. I sent an e-mail opened a trouble ticket replied to the auto response I received from my initial trouble ticket. Left a voicemail. No response back. getting ready to cancel the credit card. What is their deal?

Usually this involved support and billing to happen. Did you do this during the week? or on Friday night? Not all billing departments run on the weekend.

I first sent a regular e-mail. Then I read their FAQ and it stated canceelations had to be done via a trouble ticket, so I opened a trouble ticket January 20.

Cancellations are done within 7 business days, as stated on our site. Yours is just now 6 days old. Thankfully, we only had one cancellation in queue, so yours was pretty easy to find. I have sent you a confirmation. I'm not sure where exactly you sent an email to, but nowhere on our site gives an email for cancellation, or any other method of support. ALL support requests must go through the customer support portal, or to the toll free system. Simon

I first sent an e-mail and THEN cancelled through the customer support portal (Jan 20). I was surprised the only response I got was an automatic one. Thanks for taking care of this. Marc
