SolusVM With cPanel DNS

Up until now we've been manually creating DNS Entries for our VPS Clients in cPanel. This is, to say the least, a pain. We would like to automate the process from top to bottom. Create the VPS, Add the Zone entry. Has anyone had any luck with making SolusVM work with cPanel's DNS API? If so, care to share the wealth? There was talk about it on the Solus Forums at one point, but That was back in like March, and since then I haven't seen anything else about it.

We looked at it and in the end did our own offering based off cPanel as a free addon for customers.

So you basically just set it up as an addon, and manually entered the DNS Zone yourself?
