Go for static ARP tables on all machines in lan, thus machines does not have to do a arp broadcasts.So you may disable ARP protocol. which helps in preventing ARP Poisoning.

I will recommend if any ARP monitoring tool, such as ARPwatch, to alert you when unusual ARP communication occurs.
