reseller transfer

okay, i have gone through my 3rd reseller transfer because it appears that: 1. hosting 15-20 domains with a total traffic of 10GB/month for $15.-/month is asking too much 2. resellers tend to be on cheaper (more unreliable) NOC's and load up so many accounts per server that things eventually break. 3. sales inquiries are answered swiftly but after 3 months things take a full day before they're handled. or in current case, it takes a day staight off the bat. 4. reseller host servers are constantly being updated. i hate that. why cant they keep a stable build the way it is and stop fiddling with updates?

1. No it isn't a lot. 2. a reseller is not a NOC a NOC (Network Operations Center)) is within the data center and manages the integrity of the network for all users. 3. Ask questions and do thorough research. 4. Possibly because not keeping your stuff up to date is a liability.

4. resellers are ON a datacenter (maybe Im using the term NOC too freely, sorry). when I switched from one datacenter to another, cheaper one, things got worse fast.

Yep, this is normally how it works, you get what you pay for. This is simply due to the fact that people that buy better equipment have to charge more for service. If I weren't paying $300 for my liquidweb server, my costs would be 1/3 of what they are now on a $100 theplanet server. Just simple logic.

Sounds like someone has been using Hosters that charge under 50 cents per 1 GB of Data transfer. In that price range one should expect problems. If you were paying more than that then you've come across some bad Hosters, period. A good Hoster will charge more than 50 cents per 1 GB of Data transfer but one should end up on a Server that uses a good Data center (fast connection) and good Hardware (less mechanical problems). And updating software is just regular maintenance and shows the Hoster cares. At $15.00 USD per month you should be able to get a Reseller package with a good Hoster and have no problems with 10 - 20 accounts. Maybe more searching and research will help? Dig a little deeper with those potential Hosters.

Thanks for stopping by but I wonder why you say there are no Reseller accounts? We provide 4 different kinds as shown in the Webservices > Reseller section.
