Gnome Error, Please help

I am trying to install gnome desktop on my centos 5.5 vps and i am getting this error, i have httpd 2.2.x installed and all is working fine, Please help me in this, with thanks

How do you have httpd-2.2.x installed ? I mean, is it rpm or you had compiled it from source ? There should be either an http rpm version present on the server, which is not matching with the requirement, just verify.

Please edit. /etc/yum.conf and remove the httpd* part. If its not there then add it.

I installed apache using cpanel, i am using cpanel, and my yum.cong is look like this i am newbie here ..

Remove httpd* And run it again then re-add it. That shall work for your self.
