cpanel use high memory and resource. or your node has high I/O

don't know why is showing high cpu usage. i'm using this vps for last 3 months. almost when the vps is idle it remain on 0.00 or 0.01-0.02

It is most likely IO as xenbox suggested, I had a similar issue where my load average shot up from around 0, to between 3-4 min. It turned out that some debug logging was working silently in the background and was writing about 1Mb every second or so, then rotating the file top, and iostat will help you track down what is causing this. you may also want to take a look at incoming connections

iostat -k avg-cpu: %user %nice %system %iowait %steal %idle 3.48 0.26 1.06 4.24 0.00 90.96

anything above 0.1xxx is just too high for me, what is specification of your vps ? are you running in an openvz or is it a xen ? my tought is your node get a very heavy load.

Specifications: Processor: 1.2GHZ (0.3*4) Ram: 1GB Storage: 120 GB Openvz

Is there any RAID configuration? You should contact your provider to get information on this. Decreasing the I/O load can decrease the load average, but note that you will never get 0.00 load average on a cPanel installed VPS.

type this : httpd --fullstatus or type : "free" to see how much your ram used or netstat -a and see if there any strange address going in and out your vps. or type : "top" to see any apps goin on on your vps or install vnstat and type vnstat -tr to see the bandwidth speed of your site/vps (up/down) try to stop httpd service and pureftpd if you see the load is still high, then it could be your node that have a problem. there are still alot of way to know if your vps has a problem. rising a ticket is easy, but it will be a last step due you have to argue with them by every evidence you have cmiiw please * * i'm a newbie and stupid at system or vps, but i have once this kind of problem.
