I use HostingZoom. And they are very good. Very fast in ticket reply and resolutions. You can also checkout ResellerZoom's stats posted in HostingZoom's forum. I think RZ doesnt have a forum now. Joshua

I don't use their services but I have been considering them as a host. They offer a terrific service for an unbelievable price. That's my problem, the price is unbelievable. I haven't been able to see how they can afford to offer their services. The burning question in my mind is how can they sustainably offer high reliability with those costs? (I can see how their parent company does it, but not them themselves). The other hosting companies that offer those sort of reselling service range between about $17.50 to about $25.00 per month, when they do it for $5.00 per month. I am a little paranoid from my last host (Equivity) which was cheap ($10 per month) and became horrifically unreliable after about a year and a half.

ResellerZoom is actually a dvision of HostingZoom so I guess they are pretty reliable.

That's the assumption I first made. But you can't consider that fact by itself - it becomes part of the pro-ResellerZoom evidence, but it should not be the deciding factor. When I looked into it a little more I have found counter-evidence to that assumption - not unreliable as such, but just not as reliable as their parent company. Sure, if there was 2 ResellerZooms one with HostingZoom as the parent company and one with none, I'd go with the one with the parent company. I'm not saying not to go with them either. Just consider it another piece of the puzzle.

You both make a good point which was the reason I was asking for people who use resellerzoom. The price is a bit low but I've read good reviews about them in this forum. I'm still thinking about joining as I have not gotten around to it due to no extra time because of work. I really appreicate everyone's comments and really find it invaluable information. Thanks again.

Hi, I'm using ResellerZoom, and I couldn't be more happy with them. There service is amazing and their support is great and truly 24/7. You should also do a search on this forum since there have been quite a few threads about them in the last few weeks, all of them with very good reviews about their service.

I actually did a search which is why I'm really considering going with them. I also read alot about the horror stories of cheap resellers. So was curious about reviews from current users.

Let me give you a more detailed review of my experience with ResellerZoom. I've been with them since December 2004. The initial setup went very well without any kind of problems what so ever. My account was created well under 24 hours (it took about 5 hours), and the sing up email was clear, precise, with good information and very polite. Their servers are reliable and fast for my needs at least. Although they ran into some problems (when a lot of sites that were using old versions of phpBB were defaced), they managed everything in a very good manner and did their absolute best to minimize the downtime. In the last two months the uptime was above 99.90% for the server where I'm located. What really makes them great, in my opinion, is their support. I had a few questions during these 6 months and every time I submitted a support ticket it was answered in less then 20 minutes in a clear and helpful manner. They strive to help each and every user no matter what problem arises. In my opinion ResellrZoom is a great place to start, but you should keep in mind that they are a budget reseller. However, in my opinion, their support and the quality of the services they provide is by far better then most of the budget resellers out there. They do have a 30 days no questions asked money back guarantee policy and in my opinion the best way to know if they are right for you and your needs is to give them a try. I can not post a site yet, but in case you wonder what site I host with them, well you can find it in my signature.

can someone host a rather big file for me to try downloading to test the server speed?

I opened my account yesterday after two bad experiences with other hosts. I read many reviews on them for the last 2 months, now i used my 60 day money back guarantee and switched to ResellerZoom. Their server is very fast (my ftp upload) and questions answered with speed . In a months I will post my 1 months review.

with resellerzoom they don't hide the fact its a budget reseller, the server specs aren't as good, they have more account on each server, and they do their best for the price you are paying. I have an account with hostingzoom, and I must say that they answer the support request very quickly. I have pleased so far for the month that I have been there. I hope it continues as they grow.
