Having recently announced the commencement of on-site construction for their state of the art Tier III data centre, Virtus has signed a new 10 year lease with Coreix to accommodate its continued aggressive growth. The relationship between Virtus and Coreix extends beyond the uptake of a lease with Coreix offering onsite technical services at the Enfield facility including 24/7 remote hands.

Virtus Managing Director Warren Barrie commented Virtus are delighted that Coreix have chosen us as their preferred provider of mission critical data centre services. Coreixs entire business depends on highly resilient state of the art data centre infrastructure and they pride themselves on the SLA they provide to their end users. As a result this underpins the enormous effort and importance Virtus have placed on a no compromise approach to serve the high end mid-market space.

The first phase of the Tier III, concurrently maintainable data centre is scheduled for practical completion in late February 2011 delivering 8,632 sq ft of raised floor technical space across two dedicated stand-alone data halls of 4,316sq ft each.
