subdomain on addon domains

I have a Baby account at Hostgator (HG) - it's sharing plan with unlimited domains I have a domain as my primary domain with HG. I also have a second domain an addon domain at HG. Both are working perfectly fine. Here is my issue: I would like to have a subdomain for addon domain like forums.seconddomain.com. (seconddomain.com is addon domain) As HG support told me, this subdomain must be 'folder' in my primary domain folder just like this - public_html [primary domain] - primary domain files - /second domain/ [folder for secondomain.com] - /forums/ [subdomain for seconddomain.com] everythink is nice yet, but what will be, if i need to have /forums/ subdomain for my 3-rdomain.com ? any advise ?

As far as Cpanel is concerned, the folder for forums.3rdomain.com need not be named forums. Therefore, - /another_forums/ [folder for forums.3rdomian.com]

go to the option create sub domain. select the domain name you want to create sub domain from drop down list

It is the same process as if the forum is located under 3rdomain folder. just go to add subdomain page and point to the folder, theres is no compulsion that your sub domain folder should be located under your domains folder. just try it
