hi there, have you try the reseller zoom for that ?

I'm checking out Zoom right now. Everything looks promising. A few questions: What's the speed like? What's the server up-time like? Anyone have any opinion as to how ClientExec compares to Autopilot? Are any of you using Zoom?

So, I just set up an account with reseller zoom... and at the END of the sign up process, after all your account/credit card information is sent. It says that it'll be somewhere within the next 24 hours to get your account set up. Now, over an hour later... I call and they tell me that it's not in the activation queue yet because billing has not been verified yet! I'm gonna be patient since they do seem to offer what I'm looking for, but I gotta say, I'm not happy right now.

Well, the good side is that their procedure will minimize the chances of spammers and scammers getting on the server where your site(s) will reside.

I guess that's a pretty good plus. I had that problem when i was with HostRocket (waaay back in the day). My friends, etc. could not recieve my emails because the IP of my outgoing mail was on a black list. That was a major pain.

I have the same requirements as you--SSH and Urchin. Reseller Zoom looks great, but I can't find on their site where they offer Urchin. Did I miss it somewhere?

My account is set up now. I guess you can't leave anything up to assumption. A lot of other hosts have Urchin as a part of cPanel and don't even know it until you ask. I checked that section of my cpanel and... sure enough, Urchin is NOT there! Geez!

I talked to a support tech and they said you can get urchin if you request to be on an older server (which doesn't have Raid1). They are no longer offering Urchin at all. That's really a shame because their end-user support is a great feature. Does anyone know of a company that offers end-user support AND urchin?

what do you mean by end-user support? By the way, since I already set up the account and got VERIFIED by billing dept... I told them to move me to one of the non-RAID servers. I havent changed my nameservers yet and since I have 30 days to try it out, I'll see what my site performs like on here. But, I am still interested in any more suggestions you guys might have. Surely Zoom isn't the only one out there with SSH and Urchin!

Their helpdesk will respond to support emails sent by your customers to a specific email address you create.

Yes, I'm having great success with Zoom's support!

Do you guys think the lack of RAID on my server will be a big loss for me?
