I'm looking for a multiple plan reseller offering - like Jodohost - with Linux, Windows and VPS plans. I tried Jodohost but had a very bad experience with them within the 1st week - they ran out of IP addresses!!! and I couldn't even set-up my clients - Yikes! anyway, I closed my account with them and now I'm back to the drawing board ... looking for one reseller plan that can cover all my clients needs - any ideas??? hi are you after shared hosting or vps? or if unsure, tell me what your require?

So basically you want to sell VPS, resellers, and shared hosting correct? I would say get a dedicated server which is very powerful. You will need it. Now if you are only looking for a reseller, then depending on your budget you may want to check out the offers section of WHT. Once you have a few hosts to pick from then search for reviews on that host. Furthermore, if this is NOT what you are looking for, then you may want to be more specific about your request.

Through former host, Jodohost, my reseller plan include Windows, Linux and VPS Hosting. The best explanation I can come up with is that my plan gave me a share of windows and linux servers with which I could create shared or vps plans - the vps were linux only. This was handled through a HSphere control panel. If you need more - try jodohost's reseller page (forum won't let me post the url) I was very happy with the plan flexibility - just not the service - and was hoping to find something similiar...

studi0, You ran out of IPs how exactly? As in out of free IPs? Sometimes a server just needs more IPs allocated to it and the hsphere message tells you to contact us. However, make sure you are using IPs in an ARIN justified manner, and you can get more from us.

Have looked at at spry.com? Although I have not used them personally, I do know they offer vps reseller plans.

The response I got when I opened the support ticket for the "no more ips" message was : "the error is becasue there is no IP available on VPS server for distribution to customers We have already make a request to purchase noew block of IPs. We will update you" It was 9 days before IPs were available to my server. Maybe it was an isolated incident - I'm not making judgements for anyone other than myself - My goal is not to bash Jodohost - only to find a similiar alternative quickly so impact to my clients is minimal.

studi0, We have IPs for other servers, we are putting the VPS in a seperate subnet. This was an isolated incident related only to VPS. Edit: We just checked, this must have either been an old ticket or a mistake by the tech that replied, as we have had IPs available to assign to servers for many months now. Can you give me a ticket ID to check this matter(even if you aren't with us, we want to make sure we give proper replies) Edit 2: I did not take it as an attempt to bash us at all, just want to check the situation as something is not right in it. I have spoken with Tanmaya an verified that we DO have Ips to give to VPs, or any other server needing them, and I am seeking to improve our services as much as anything in the replies I give, as you are already gone.
