I give up, need your help

I realize you guys dislike threads like these, but through the hours of exploration I still can't find a good reseller host on the west coast or Dallas that also meets my criteria. My budget is ~$10-15/mo with the following: cPanel/WHM >1gb disk >10gb bandwidth Good support is a given. I don't need 24/7/365 as these are just personal sites of my own and a few friends. So far, most of the sites I come across have poor reviews or are completely unprofessional looking and don't have any reviews on them. Does anyone comes to mind when you read this? Thanks fellas, I appreciate it.

In all fairness, you may want to just raise your budget a little. I understand that you need very little space, so you may want to see if you can talk to a host and maybe get a custom quote. Some may do it, some may not.

Well with your requirements you may be able to find a provider that offers decent support and service. The first provider that comes to mind that you may want to check out is ResellerZoom. You can find good and bad reviews on them here at WHT, just weigh out the good and the bad and then make your choice. Also lurk around the offers section, there are plenty of hosts to choose from that part of WHT, always remember to search for reviews on which ever host you choice, because obviously it will be a budget plan so generally you want to be careful. Good luck to you!

I'm with resellerzoom at the moment actually, but with a budget plan based in New York. Although their support is fine for me, their budget servers are overloaded. I realize I can upgrade to a more expensive plan and be transferred to dallas, but those plans are $25+ which is beyond my budget at the moment. I'll keep perusing, and checking back here for your words. Thanks.

Well, they don't hide behind the fact their budget servers have more users on them than the others.. As for having personal sites, why not try to go with a host that has multi-domain hosting instead of reselling? Unless you need the flexibility of a reseller account, I don't see why it wouldn't work out, and sometimes shared hosting is cheaper than a reseller account (and some of them are reliable )

I think you have a fairly reasonable budget in mind (fortunately you are not looking for 50 GB disk space for $5/month) so I'm surprised that you are having trouble finding a host. My suggestion is that you be sure to to weigh all your options - eg. Big corporation, or smaller (more personal) host, etc. You seem to be on the right track with picking a host so keep on going and you should find a company that suits you.
