Hi - can any one help to create a encrypted container for mysql using truecrypt? a bit stuck on this - any help is much appreciated! google'd but not found much, thanks

What are you stuck on? You create a truecrypt container, or use whole disk encryption, which is a better idea, and stick mysql in there. I used Google, and the FIRST page was this: http://serverfault.com/questions/178...e-any-pitfalls Research is important.

thanks - I have been searching google for a few hours on creating truecrypt containers for mysql and not found much help so I have been looking! maybe the way I am describing it was not right - will look at that link - thanks!
