cloudflare blocking me ?

Posted by ransome, 12-28-2011, 01:00 PM
Recently I have seen some sites blocking me when I visit few sites and they are using Cloud Flare. I get Access Restricted. As, I get: I am clueless why it happens since I don't have a permanent ip issued by my ISP, I have a new ip every time I get connected so I have literally no control over my ips. So any help on what I could do to visit those sites ?

I would recommend you contact cloud flare directly and see what they can do for you, they know their system and they can tell you how to get around it or what's causing it. I wish you the best of luck!

Try using other nameservers, like the Google ones. You should be able to change them in your router's configuration menu.

Cloudflare(free version) is till now not compatible with Todays Websites and security .You can try to keep your security level : Medium rather than high in the setting tab of your Domains .

I've read this three times and can't quite seem to understand what you're trying to say. Care to explain/elaborate?

He's trying to say that the websites using CloudFlare should change their protection level to "Medium", to avoid false positives. At least that's the part I understand.

ok,SolidJoe,In simple word.. I mean,Cloudflare Free version is not so-good for Todays websites in the world .I am currently using cloudflare for my Clients Websites(At-most 18) and these type of Problems always came in the past .Please change the security blocking level in Cloudflare to Medium or Low .anything else ?

Thanks for ur assistance and tips friends. I have mailed to cloudflare will have to wait up for their assistance. @Mnchost: I am not having problems with my sites, I do not use CloudFlare. I am having problems accessing other sites which are using CF. I can't just go and mail to their webmasters asking them to change their CF settings rite ? Its more over impossible when I can't even open up the site, leave about contacting them.

hmm Ransome correct !!,Then final solution is to contact CloudFlare Support and let we wait for there response or if possible(as in my country) change ip by restarting router/modem and clear your cache/dns and start using google/opendns..
