internal server Error 500

Hi :
when we use LiteSpeed we had never seen internal 500 error , but when switch to Apache this error occur due customer bad rewrite role and ect. is it possible config Apache (or Nginx) to override this error ?

Hi,
Please check the permissions and ownership of the files and folders in the document root to resolve this issue. Also the error log to get more details.

The Rewrite rules are written differently in Nginx and Apache, so if you switch between WebServers, you will either have to write the rules as per the new WebServer OR remove/comment them altogether in the .htaccess.
The only way to override is to set AllowOverRide to None in the Apache configuration so anything written in .htaccess will have no effect. This is not a good solution though as clients may like to use .htaccess for various purposes.
