Optimizing the use of CDP

Posted by XLT_Frank, 03-07-2012, 08:27 PM
All, So way back when, I used cPanel's backup and then I went for cPremote. They were great because of simple account restoration, etc. However it was far from cost effective. Now I am using R1Soft's CDP. I really like it because of how well my server runs now. However the downfall is that I do not have the simple account restore that cPanel offered, or the individual services to restore under an account that cPremote offered. What are some of your secrets for using CDP? The provider I am using does not have the MySQL option either. This leads me to want to have a MySQL backup script and setup a CDP Policy to backup that directory every day separately from current disk backup policy to make for easier restores. Thanks, Frank
