Hi
would some body advise with a good software that can be installed on my PC and can scan my Linux server back-doors, services vulnerabilities, Shells , unwanted ports ... etc ...
I heard about some softwares that can generate full reports ... would some body advise with a good one ?

You can use Clamscan, maldetect, rkhunter and chkrootkit to scan your Linux servers.

You can install BackTrack Linux on your PC, and try many apps of this OS for your sites.

Guys ... I am looking for a software that can scan a site from my PC and report its back-doors .... some thing like: "Acunetix" but free ... any advises ?

I have some sites and VPS and I would like to scan the site and the VPS as a hacker to secure my sites and VPS ...

You can install Sun VirtualBox on Windows to create a virtual machine, then install BackTrack Linux on this virtual one.
