This is my phpinfo: http://placentinclub.com/phpinfo.php so my zend is it version v1.3.0? if yes, it seem like is ready installed... so can i continue install ioncube?

No. Zend is not installed. PHP does have a portion of Zend Engine in its code. But what you need is Zend Optimizer. The latest is version 2.1.0+. You have to load them in sequence as mentioned by microsol.

i m using cpanel now, can i direct install by /scripts/installzenddopt ??? how about ioncube? how do i install it ? install b4 zend?

Yes, you can use /scripts/installzendopt As for Ioncube, go to their website, download the package and compile it. Sequence of installing can be either way. It's more of the php.ini sequence.

Are you talking about Ioncube's PHP Accelerator and Zend's Optimizer working together? I've never had any luck getting that to play nice together. I always end up losing the Accelerator no matter which script I loaded first.

Hi, Zend and ioncube can not work together. in Zend Optimiser 2.1.0 some information was so regarding compatibility but it not so. Regards, Bright

they can work together fine....the lastest version of zend optimizer is 2.5.1

I guess the discrepancy is this: Are you 1. Talking about Zend Optimizer 2. Talking about Ioncube Accelerator OR Talking about Ioncube Loaders Ioncube is just the company name and so is Zend. Which products are the original poster referring to ?

Really? And what is this in the attached pic? Attached Thumbnails

That image you posted is using IonCube loaders along with Zend Optimizer and that can be done with no problems. The compatibility issue is with using Zend Optimizer and Ioncube's PHP Accelerator. Zend certainly does not want you to be able to use a free PHP Accelerator along with their Optimizer when they get $295.00 minimum for their Accelerator license. I would love to see someone who has IonCube's PHP Accelerator and Zend Optimizer running together on a shared environment. It may be possible somehow but I haven't seen anyone do it yet... Hello, This thread is more than 2943 days old. However, I would like to know the answer, considering current versions of these two's. Thank you.
