How to install mod_ruid2

Hi All,
Im new to the world of dedicated hosts, but ive been advised by my host to install mod_ruid2 but with no instruction can someone point me to some good instructions to help me install via SSH?

Instructions on mod_ruid2 are unfortunately far to find - it's quite badly documented.
Are you running it with a control panel? The latest cPanel allows for its install in EasyApache quite easily. I haven't used it with anything else yet, but it seems like an excellent Apache module, keeping security (user separation) and speed (DSO).

Hi yeah I have a plesk panel installed.
Ive been given the instruction of
"yum install mod_ruid2"
to run in my ssh but it says no package available

Thanks for you help guys, im in
One last question, ive installed this so that my web scripts can write to folders as they are saying they aren't writable.
Does any one know what I need to add to the ruid2.conf file to get this to work?

Have you checked permissions and user:group on files and dirs?

Hi Mike,
Yeah checked these and doesnt seem to be working what do I need to set the permissions to as default?
