Varhosting - MKOH - ResellerZoom - Innohosting

Yep.... i'm that "stupid" as some people might say. I have accounts with all of them. I just want to share my impressions about each of them. The order has NO RELEVANCE. 1. ResellerZoom ups got 6 or 7 budget accounts here, all runing PERFECT. GREAT UPTIME GREAT SUPPORT (they moved 3 of my accounts within 15 minutes and i really needed them moved asap.) Never ever needed their support except that move above. And that's for like at least 1 year with them. downs you can't have high traffic sites on their reseller accounts. I believe that;s the first reason of their perfect uptime. Too bad here... i don't actually blame them, but it's a down thingy for me. If you want to host high trafic HTML sites they are perfect. If you imply mysql/php... only 8 connections same time seems little for me. But again... it's an UP for the uptime . they raised costs on new customers. I didn't notice any changes in my accounts though... hope the costs for me stay the same or i'll have to move, considering i couldn't afford higher costs. 2. MKOH - my kind of host got 1 account here on their main server i suppose... if they have more then 1 ups don't actually monitor a lot this account but according to a 30 minutes monitoring site the uptime is 100%. Anyway it's WAY WAY WAY better then last year. I decided to stay with them only because since like 6 months ago i had no problems at all with them anymore. Before these 6 months i was decided to leave them. Now it's all fine and i'm really OK with them. They are understandfull. I mean they suspended my account for different reasons and they unsuspended on request.... downs support... and i really f******** hate that. It's quite like with varhosting. First of all the support is ONLY by email. and i hate that. Second of all... they respond damn slow. Third of all... i have to exchange several emails before my issue gets understood and other few before it gets solved. Last of all... whenever they suspended any of yhe accounts i host there i was NEVER, but NEVER announced. I had to find that on my own. This i really hate. I understand they suspend it... they were in rights to do it... but don't i have to know also?! Plus that it took 3 days to unsuspend the account due to SLOW RESPONSE. 3. Varhosting got 1 account here on their main server i suppose... node100. ups When is running (at least 99,9%, excepting the 4-8 hours downtime... which happen very rare) the server is SUPER FAST and working like a charm. Rick seems nice, but he hides or something. He was very polite and really helpfull when i finally got him on phone. downs and here it comes... as you all know... SUPPORT SUCKS. as in... S U C K S. Whenever you need them... you can not get them.. by any ways... nor phone, nor email, nor ticketing nor nothing..... they have online chat which is always OFFLINE sending email using offline online chat ) get's you an undelivable emails considering there is NO SUCH USER on server.... bad email address passed there. you can not use custom php.ini or php flags in .htaccess. I really really need that... that's a huge DOWN. Global_register is ON... that's a huge security risk, i believe. 4. InnoHosting got 1 account here on their main server i suppose... ups Fast account setup Nice staff Present staff on WHT (also for other companys, sorry i didn't mention) really responsive on ticketing system. Within minutes i get my damn things solved. really helpfull staff on ticketing. they know what they are doing... on ticketing system they reply on each reply you do... making you not feeling lonely or waiting... it's like they say "got your request, we're working on it right now, give us some minutes". At least you know someone is there ) Lot's of features and the offer i got ) haha... i love this.... free plan upgrade, clientexec (which i HATE, but don't have money for modernbill or other, better), free domain reseller, way lower costs then i had, free rapid ssl blah blah... a lot of freebies inlcuding end-user support for free downs they do not support clientexec directly.... it's not their fault... but i hate that since clientexec is buggy.... or at least older versions used to be. i would have preffered a full email with ALL the info from their offer..... like end-user support link, domain reseller account information blah blah, clientexec how-to get and license info, and few other minor thingys... that's a small down, but would look nicer if they would have the info like that. I don't want to make you choose from either of these... it's just like my opinions on each of them. I will keep all of them right now. Will think about closing or moving when the year on each account ends or if there are major issues. Let's hope it helps someone.

Which plan do you have with Innohosting? Was your "offer" something you found in the offers section/their webpage or specific to you?

I think you're pretty smart having 4 hosts to compare then share your experiences first hand. Now you can pick and choose. Is understandfull an actual word?

sorry zoobie, english is not my first language. I meant someone who was easy to deal with, very understanding. Nnyan, i have their latest offer that actually ended yesterday ). But talk to rameen maybe you can get an account too.

Considering i needed some support from InnoHosting i feel that i need to share this: I had about 4 tickets opened till now. All were solved within minutes. Also they answered back within seconds, this made me feel that someone is there... at least . Thank you INNO.

Its good that you have a found a host that is able to meet your needs. Congrads as well to InnoHosting for being true to what hosting is suppose to be about - a service to their clients.

by the way I don't find this at all unusual. I've had up to 6 accounts going at any one time. There are many hosts with great reviews and reps, the only way I've found that I can make a decision is to try them all out.

I have been using MKOH since Sep 06 and I am glad I moved my sites even though I have a few months left. They were good in the beginning. When I started getting problems (uptime) there responses were a few words. They are pretty bad with communication and it takes days for them to respond. I had a reseller account, i guess they were cheap and you get what you paid for. Finally I found out that they suspended my account and after a few days they decided to unsuspend. They do not have a proper 'terms & conditions' especially regarding recurring paypal payments. This is my experience...and one last thing I lost 2 clients over this and now i am using a more reliable hosting company.
