i suggest you search google on what shared and reseller hosting is but it looks like for now you must stay with shared hosting. The part on "Disk Space 350gb Bandwidth 3,000gb" it is best to ask Hostgater that ?

I think u can directly ask hostgator support team to get more clear idea. I hope they will help you to set up and get started.

Many hosts will not allow you to resell your space on a regular shared account, and instead require you to buy a reseller account if that's what you want to do.

hostgator does not let you resell the shared space, it is against their TOS plus with the reseller account, you get the free hosting management software etc... ( i would use the WHMCS not the autopilot, it is crap... cheers

I have bought webhosting from hostgator and I found it nearly impossible to pay for it.. Usually these places have a pay now button but this hostgator gave you an invoice and even then you had to click on the invoice number, which was tiny, to pay the bill...I have never seen anything like it.. Not as organised as godaddy but I spose, alot cheaper.

As ethical said, Hostgator will only allow you to sell features that are apart of the Reseller Hosting. Shared Hosting is different as they massively oversell space and width. They know that it isn't realistic, thats why resellers have less. Majority of resellers let you oversell but all your users cant use more than 24 GB or they will suspend you or force you to upgrade

You divide the reseller account into small hosting plans, setup a website and sell shared hosting. If you think about reselling hg plans, maybe just signup their affiliate program. What i know for sure is you need to do more research

go on wikipeadia & look for shared hosting & reseller hosting.

The main difference is that you cannot resell to other people other than yourself, and plus with a reseller you can provide cPanel to others who buy from you.

I too would recommend to contact the host you are looking to work with, as well as go to Wikipedia and try to find as much information as you can prior to entering the market.
