nginxcp ? is it really Nginx

do you recommend to use nginxcp ? because configuration file has simple value is it good to install this module on cpanel server instead of compile nginx from main source ? what is the difference between compile package and install this module ?

The module simply makes it easyer for those to use Nginx without mass configuration changes and needless headaches. Yes the overall configuration of Nginx is likely the easiest I have ever seen however getting it to play nice with an existing system from source is the hard part 99% of the time. Regards,

so functionality and reliability are the same ?

Nginx is Nginx regardless of how you set it up however it can serve a different purpose such as serving different content types, etc As long as you have access to the likes of "nginx.conf" then theirs nothing you cannot do with Nginx. However you will need to tweak the worker configuration since the default setup isn't useful to most environments.

what type of configuration is ideal in-case someone has Intel Xeon E3 with 8GB of Ram and sites are getting good amount of traffic and sites are php/mysql based. I have installed nginx from http://nginxcp.com/

Its hard to pluck numbers out of thin air without knowing anything about the configuration...

I guess there solution simply makes installing nginx on cPanel breeze - Although now it's just a question on whether or not they will support there solution in the long term and continuously offer updates. Maybe it's worth dropping the vendor an email requesting a little more info on the product which they are offering, apart from that things look somewhat fine (I know very little nor have any experience with this company therefore cannot comment entirely on what is on offer)

Yes, there will not be any difference in reliability and functionality if you install module from cPanel. You can tweak settings as per your wish directly from nginx.conf file OR from cPanel plugin itself.

Yes, it's based on the original release. The coder just added an installation script and some modules to make it work in cPanel. Reliabliity etc should be the same as the original one.
