Does anyone know if there are any initiatives like MyNetWatchman that are going strong? The amount of information that can be gathered from large hosting platforms is insane. The amount of information available on the net that is free and open and available to be queried is crazy. With a bit of work one could create lightweight daemons that submit threat data (much like mailspike & senderbase) which can then be queried using various means. Having a small daemon run that is capable of black-holing threat locations, dropping, or rejecting.
